Under the right biological conditions, all plants can be colonized by endomycorrhza fungi.  Endomycorrhiza fungi is not plant species specific.  These statements and many others of importance can be found in the book titled, "Mycorrhizal Symbiosis, Second Edition, S.E. Note: Plants in the following families do not respond to endo or ecto Mycorrhizae*:

Sedge (Cyperaceae), Rush (juncaceae), Orchid (Orchidacea), Protea (Proteaceae), Mustard, Cabbage (Brassica), Beet (Chenopodiaceae), and Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae).

* Mycorrhizal fungi can be "endo' (within the root), or "ecto' (on the outside of the root). BioVam contains both endomycorrhiza and ectomycorrhiza.  For plant families that are generally considered non-mycorrhizal, there can be exceptions.  For example, Hercules Cabbage (Brassica family) can be colonized by endomycorrhiza fungi.
