What is T & J Enterprises?

Established in 1998, www.tandjenterprises.com is the Internet’s largest and most trusted supplier of BioVam Mycorrhiza, Biosol Fertilizer, Bio-Peat, the original Hobo Spider Elimination Kit and several other environmentally friendly products.

How does your Affiliate Program work?

Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?

No. Our Affiliate Program is 100% FREE to join! There are absolutely NO FEES in our Affiliate Program.

If I'm running other Affiliate Programs on my site, can I still join yours?

Of course! Exclusivity is a bad practice which we do not support.

Do you offer performance breaks or incentives in your Affiliate Program?

Our Affiliate program basically works this way:

  • Through links placed on your site you send referral customers to us, and get paid 15% commission off the gross sale of every item they purchased. We track these sales live as they are made. Your stats are updated live as they are made.

15% commission is paid to all Affiliates no matter how big or small you are, or the level of your referral sales. There are no quotas or minimums.

We aim to keep things straight away simple and equal. This structure best fits our products which are the best in the industry in terms of viability, quality, performance, pricing and broad spectrum application. And fits well with our price break and packaging structure, where we provide extra product in our one quart, 1/2-gallon and one gallon packages.

All these things add a great deal of value to your "Affiliate Program".

How do I get started?

If you don't have an Affiliate ID and Password, please fill out our application form. We will respond back to you within 24 hours with your Affiliate ID URL and Password. Please review our How To Link page on how to use your ID URL to link to us. Then download what combination of banner ads, logos, text banners and product images you want to ad to your web site. You can use any combination of these. We recommend you place them on your home page and other high traffic pages on your web site and give some thought to how you want to promote it to your user base. See our info page for more about this. The text link "An affiliate of T & J Enterprises" must be displayed under each banner, logo, etc., or wherever it best fits your site layout.

As an Affiliate you are required to maintain active, prominent "findable" links to us at all times. If you do not we will terminate your account.

Can I become an Affiliate if I live outside of the United States?

Yes. We have Affiliates from all over the world and would love to have you as part of our Affiliate team. Just fill out our application form to begin earning your commissions.

Can I have more than one Affiliate account?

Yes, but we require each separate account to reside on clearly separate web sites with different URL's. We track all Affiliate URL's. If you own more than one web site, feel free to apply for an Affiliate account for both, separately - unless the web sites are very closely related in purpose and content and play off each other, then just use one for both. Otherwise it makes it harder to track our affiliate customer base.

If you need more than one Account just let us know to whom the checks from each are to be paid out to.

I want to sell your products through my shopping cart: do you drop-ship?

No.

Can I let my friends use my unique ID URL on their web sites for me?

No. Each unique ID URL is assigned to a specific web site, which we track. See above question and read our Terms of Agreement. Tell your friends to join! It's FREE!

Does it matter what type of web site I have?

Please read our Terms of Agreement. Check with your Internet Service Provider if you are in doubt whether your web site qualifies to earn money from.

Should I display prices on my web site?

Yes, you can. Our base product prices seldom change, and if when they do we will notify all Affiliates through our Affiliate Newsletter which you are subscribed to automatically when you become an Affiliate. If we make any price changes we will inform you of them.

Display prices where and when they are most effective for your situation and site layout.

Our "product images with text banners" will always contain prices with them. Other banners, etc., may or may not. We are making a variety of choices available.

Do you run promotions and how often?

We run our specials several different ways: in the form of limited time coupon specials, associated with a specific coupon number. Some are special combinations of products, such as our Garden Sales Kit; these kinds of specials we run all the time without limit. And others yet to be thought up! We will announce our specials and sales to our Affiliates when we are about to run them through our Affiliate newsletter so you can take advantage of them.

Some will be seasonal, some are running all the time and others will run when we think them up. If you have a suggested special you think would be a killer with wide appeal, submit it to us! If we like it we'll put it into place and announce it to our Affiliates through our Affiliate Newsletter.

We will also run our specials in our banner rotator link option.

Is your Affiliate Program going to be a permanent part of your operations?

Yes. It is here to stay, and we are here to stay! Period. It will evolve as we evolve.

Do you mail out an Affiliate Newsletter?

Yes we do. When you become an Affiliate you are automatically subscribed to it. It is issued once per month, unless we have information or a special we want to get to you ASAP. You may also subscribe to our regular newsletter, but you must request to be subscribed to it; that option is available when you sign up as an Affiliate. If you missed doing that or want to do so now send us an email! Otherwise the Affiliate Newsletter is the only one you will get from us.

You can not subscribe to our Affiliate newsletter without becoming an Affiliate.

Our Affiliate newsletter is a key support item for our Affiliates. Some examples of what we cover:

Can I have a custom banner made for my site to better fit its theme and layout?

We will try our best to work with you to best implement our Affiliate program on your site. But, because of demand, making custom banners for all Affiliates would just not be feasible nor cost effective. However, we will also not let that stand in the way of your getting up and running with our Affiliate program. We are sensitive to the need to maintain the look and feel of your web site.

You can also design up a suggested banner, etc., and submit it to us for approval. Also, if you are "design inclined" and have an idea for an image or banner, etc., that you think would really grab people, send it to thomas@tandjenterprises.com. If we like it we'll put it up on our banners page for our other Affiliates to use unless it is merged with your site information. All submitted graphics become the property of T & J Enterprises. We will give you credit for the design! The text link "An affiliate of T & J Enterprises" must be displayed under each banner, logo, etc., or however or wherever it best fits your layout.

Any costs an Affiliate may incur having specialized or custom graphics made for their site to depict our products or information about them are the responsibility of the individual Affiliate. Moreover, we do require you to submit them to us for approval - the reason: we are sensitive about our products being represented accurately and correctly. So, before you incur costs needlessly please consult with us about what your ideas are on such custom design work.

Misrepresenting our products or company is a violation of our terms of agreement and will result in immediate termination of your Affiliate account.

How often do you update your banners, etc?

We are constantly adding new graphic links and suggested ways to link to us using your ID URL. You are not limited in the ways you can link to us. We even supply short text links. So check the banners page often for new items.

Do you pay any finders fees for bringing on new Affiliates?

No, sorry, we don't. That is because we want our Affiliates focus and efforts to be on bringing referral customers to us, and building a customer base through and for their affiliate links. Not on how many sites they can send our way. The focus has to be on customer flow - and sustaining it. And the rewards have to be based on that flow. Without that no one makes anything. The success of any Affiliate program is only as good as its Affiliates ability to achieve this - as well as the quality and mix of products offered to prospective customers. As well as the support given by the Affiliate sponsor - us - to the Affiliates efforts - you.

Our job and the end purpose of our business is to sell products. Towards that end we have established a progrm to enlist Affiliates willing to partake in that endeavor and share in profits via commissions as a result of their efforts. We believe the Affiliates focus needs to be fully on sales, marketing and product exposure towards their customer and visitor base; building and sustaining it within the structure of their site. That is the job of the Affiliate; ours is to support your efforts as best we can in as many ways as we can within the limits of our terms of agreement.

As an Affiliate you need to take ownership of your program to make it successful, and to keep it that way. The best way we can support your efforts is to make available a reliable and solid knowledge base as well as offering high performing products. There is a lot of information on our site, ways, settings and situations to present our products for you as an Affiliate to utilize. Make a point of frequently reviewing our Product Catalog and Site Map for ways to incorporate what best fits within your site and would be most effective at driving your referral customer through your links.

We of course welcome and appreciate your recommendation if you know of a site that might be interested in our Affiliate program.

You also need to remember that our customer base is made up of better than 99% repeat customers. They use our products year round and consistently recommend them to their friends. Our 15% commission structure has a sort of built in "growth flow" created by repeat customers who solidly recommend them to their friends. Our products make that happen because our products work and are simply the best in the industry! "That" is why our 15% commission equates to solid sustained earnings.

Being a proactive Affiliate is where your success lies. Ours comes form providing the best support we can towards your efforts.

Do you pay-per-click?

No. For the same sort of reasons as above.

The "only" option we pay on is referred customer sales, either directly through your ID URL links to us or through our Drop-Ship Affiliate Program. That's it.

As in any business, internet or not, the only proven money earner that sustains itself over the long haul is repeat customer sales and referred recommended sales from those customers. That is the heart of any businesses bread and butter. And because of the type of products we carry is really the most important focal point of our sales efforts:

Satisfied customers - who now have several reasons to shop you in the first place because of our products - return again and again because our products work for them; they discover they not only need them but prefer them; they run out and want more: our products are consumables; they recommend them: people love to share and talk about what works and where they got it from! Another cycle with another customer begins anew. It's called full circle consumerism. And that is what any successful business must achieve and sustain to stay in business. Our products are such that they generate this by virtue of their use. People gain from their use on many different levels over their broad spectrum application uses.

That is what makes Affiliates money: a satisfied, returning and recommending customer base. That is what we are interested in seeing, and helping you achieve.

Which would you prefer?

Is my privacy as an Affiliate protected?

Yes! Our Privacy Policy applies every bit as much to our Affiliates as it does to our customers. Your information is safe and will never be sold nor given out.

Commission Questions:
How do you track sales from my web site?

We will provide you with a unique Affiliate ID URL. All Affiliate links from your web site to our shopping cart will use a special format that includes this Affiliate ID. Every time a customer follows one of these links to our site, this unique URL tells our cart that they came from you. Please read the How to Link page for more information on linking to our site. All your Affiliate links MUST use your unique ID URL, otherwise your Affiliate referral sales can not be tracked.

Also, our cart uses cookies in this tracking process. We urge you to encourage your visitors to enable cookies on their browsers. See our How to Link page for more about this.

How often do I get paid?

We pay referral commissions monthly within 15 days following the end of each month. Please read our Terms of Agreement and Sample Report pages for more information about referral commissions.

No matter how large or small your monthly Affiliate earnings are, a check will be mailed to you. No commissions are held over.
